If you participate in the “Adopt a Dolphin!” campaign of the Blue World, you support the Adriatic Dolphin Program, as part of which observation and protection of the natural habitat of the dolphins in the Croatian Losinj and Cres archipelago is in progress. Your donation helps us in observation of other species living in the Adriatic Sea – cetacean and dolphins, it helps us to improve the protected area of dolphins living in Lošinj´s surrounding and the Marine Education Center, to draw attention to the importance of our activities through lectures, interviews and demonstrations and to continue our award-winning Dolphin Day.

Which dolphin you would like to adopt?

• Faccia is a well known female, she is strong, but always calm and friendly. We have known her since 1990.
• Grifo is a female, she has been present in the archipelago since 1992, in 1995 she gave birth to a calf, which has often been seen with her ever since.
• Monk is a famous male. He has been observed since 1991 often accompanied by his best friend Phil.
• Phil most likely a male, he often surprises us bringing the fish he catches to the surface “to show” it to us.
